University Overview

Founded in 1976 by Alan Brierley, Richard Price, and Charles Prior, BPP University started as a training ground for accountancy students under the name Brierley Price Prior. It earned degree-awarding powers in 2007 and became a university in 2013. The institution now educates over 38,000 students and has study centers across the UK, including six in London.

BPP’s campuses are well equipped with modern resources and technology. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with courses in accountancy, finance, law, data and analytics, digital marketing, business, and nursing. To make sure that its students meet industry needs, the school collaborates with leading employers and professional bodies to design the courses that they offer.

BBP University is well recommended for its programmes in law, business, and finance. The school has impressive graduate outcomes, with 95% of UK postgraduates landing skilled jobs within just 15 months after completing their studies. Additionally, 98% of graduates are either working, continuing their education, or involved in caregiving roles during this same period. In 2023, the university won the AGCAS Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity Award for their Reverse Mentoring Scheme.

Overview Services

BPP University provides career support for all students through its Employability Service, which offers one-on-one appointments, careers events, workshops, and online tools to help students connect with employers, improve their CVs and interview skills, and gain professional experience.

The institution also provides assistance for students with disabilities, learning difficulties, and health issues. The Learning Support team offers personalised advice, guidance, and reasonable adjustments to help students access their courses assessments. Students also have access to mental health and wellbeing support.

Students Life

At BPP University, students are free to join any of the many clubs and societies or even set up a new one. There are more than five categories available such as law, academic, cultural, and social. Students can find a community that matches their interests, whether it’s sports, drama, or professional networking.

The university also has study centres and some of them have multiple multi-faith rooms, free internet/WiFi access, a games room, snack vending machines, and group collaboration spaces.

Accommodation

While BPP University does not have its own halls of residence, there are still several off-campus accommodation options available for its students, including private halls of residence, homestays, and private rentals.
